There is about to be some sort of hell unleashed on UMMC if they don’t get a fucking clue and help my sister today.
For those that don’t already know, Sara has a kidney stone; a big one. Big even for adults, let alone a 16 year old girl. She’s in a lot of pain when not on morphine, and they are insisting on waiting to see of she passes this thing (20% odds, given it’s place/size), rather than just going up and getting it. She’s so tiny, and experiencing pain that most adults find excruciating. It’s making me sick.
Kidney stones are the worst. Matt had one (or some?) about a year and a half ago. He eventually passed them along with some blood clots. Nasty stuff dude. What sucks is that once you get them, you’re more prone to getting them again. Tell your sis to drink lots of cranberry juice from now on.
and considering everytime i drive to North Carolina I always get stuck in traffic in DC and Richmond it will really be a nightmare tomorrow. SO we’ve decided to leave tonight! I’ll take any extra minute I get I’m very happy about this.
Matt and I are driving to NC tomorrow :( We’re leaving around 10am so hopefully we won’t hit too much traffic. Weird that we’ll be in the same state dude!
