tim burton has announced plans to make sleeping beauty with angelina jolie as maleficent. i am ecstatic, so ecstatic i could cackle. nobody does it like maleficent. fuck yes.

Actually, what I heard was that it was going to the be classic tale told from the perspective of Maleficent. I’m not really sure how I feel about this because he’s ruined so many of my childhood stories (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland), but he has also created some of my favorite movies of all time (Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissor Hands). Time will tell I suppose.
